Small Intimate Elopement at Jester Park in Iowa

Megan + Adam

Who says you can’t elope in Iowa? Honestly, my favorite weddings are the small, intimate, elopements. They are way more laid back and allows you to really soak in all the emotions during the day.

Megan and Adam were originally planning to have a big wedding at the lodge at Jester Park, but due to Covid, they instead rented the cabins and invited only immediate family and had a small ceremony in the back of the cabin. It was perfect! This Fall, they will be having a reception for all of their friends and family to come celebrate and dance the night away with them.

Megan rocked the boho vibe! Adam rocked the Converse, which they both ended up doing by the end of the night. And Grandpa had us all in tears after he started crying when looking at Megan.

Originally, they weren’t going to do a first dance, but I talked them into having a first dance in the middle of the woods, because seriously, HOW MAGICAL! It was such a special moment for them and I smile just thinking back on it. Their day was perfect from start to end and I couldn’t have pictured anything more fitting for them.

P.S. You all need to try the Key Lime Pie Bars from Little Blackbird Bakery. They are mouth watering good!! Okay, to be honest, everything she makes is amazing!

Alright, enough talking, let’s check out these photos!
